M113

Ready to go; Australian infanty soldiers move towards the rear of their Armoured Personnel Carrier at the start of their patrol in the Dili Area, Timor-Leste. They are on duty as part of the International Stabilisation Force. Middle Caption: Diggers of the 5th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment, based in Dili, are now providing the quick response force for the Australian Timor-Leste Battle Group 4. The mechanised infantry troop with their armoured personnel carriers gives the International Stabilisation Force an extra means of insertion and extractions of troops, with an extreme "go anywhere" cross-country capability.
